Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Blanc, known in Germany as Weissburgunder, grown on Mosel slate within Markus Molitor's estate.
Taste Profile: Deep, intense and elegant, with a complex nose of crushed stone — slate and limestone — and lemon zest. Lush, refined and elegant on the palate, a smooth and charming Pinot Blanc with texture, intense sur lie fruit and a finely salty, crystalline finish.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are harvested in October, with 100% healthy berries gently crushed and given several hours of skin contact to extract aroma and minerals. The must ferments spontaneously and slowly at low temperature to let complex fruit aromas develop fully, before the wine is matured on its lees in wooden barrels for an extended period.
Winemaker: Markus Molitor took control of his family's Mosel property at just 20 years old in 1984, expanding it over four decades into a 120-hectare estate — the largest privately-owned, family-run winery on the Mosel — spanning top sites in Wehlen, Zeltingen-Rachtig and Bernkastel. His Rieslings have twice scored a perfect 100 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, earning him the nickname 'Herr 300 Punkte.'

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
