Catherine Marshall Pinot Noir in Clay 2023
Grape varietal & region: A vibrant and elegant wine from the cool climate region of Elgin in South Africa. The grapes are grown on the clay-heavy soils of the vineyard, which impart a unique minerality and depth to the wine.
Taste profile: The nose is full of red fruit aromas, including cherries and raspberries, with a hint of smokiness and spice. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced with silky tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
Winemkaing process: The grapes were hand-picked and sorted before undergoing a cold maceration for five days. Fermentation took place in small batches with wild yeast, with manual punch-downs and pump-overs to ensure maximum extraction of flavor and color. The wine was then aged in 100% French oak barrels for 11 months, of which 20% were new barrels.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
