Over 200 years ago, an ancient Roman settlement called CARE made the first grape juices in Aragon. The city of Carinena today, sits on the same land as this Roman settlement, upon which is the origin of Garnacha. Located in Carinena DO, Bodegas Care was setup in 2000 by the Aragonese families Díaz and Lázaro, who came together to produce contemporary Mediterranean wines. In 2003, they released their first wine, Finca Bancales
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 60% Garnacha, 40% Cariñena from old vines over 80 and 50 years from Finca Bancales and Finca Marimú vineyards
Taste Profile: Intense cherry red colour. With fruity aromas of red and black berries and mineral notes provided by the rocky soils where our vineyards survive. Its particular ageing provides complexity, aromas of sweet spices (cinnamon) and nuts notes (toasted almonds).
It has a powerful palate with high quality sweet tannins where fruitiness and spiciness is melted and provide great character. The aftertaste is elegant, complex and persistent.
Winemaking Process: Produced in only exceptional years, the wine ages for 12 months in French oak and 6 months in Foudre

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
