The Toro Albalá winery began in the heart of Southern Cordoba in 1922, which is famous for its wine region Montilla-Moriles. Their history begins with the story of a small wine grower José María Toro Albalá who had the great idea of keeping aged wines to create wine treasures destined for the most demanding palates and whose family values are still founded on this philosophy today.
Toro Albalá wines are now to be found on the best tables in the world. Toro Albala winery has received awards in recognition of its constancy in the world of viticulture. Patience bears sweet fruit, something which winemaker and enologist Antonio Sánchez knows well, having dedicated all his life to this and for whom the Pedro Ximénez grapes are as if they were his own offspring, grown under the best conditions to ensure sufficient character and to be a part of the most wonderful dinner gatherings.

Taste Profile: Dark mahogany withiodine highlights. Dried fruit (grapes, plums). Hazelnut, cinnamon, milk chocolate, reminiscent of a sweet treat. Excellent balance of sweetness, acidity, and a balsamic touch.
Winemaking Process: This 1984 Don PX is a unique, complex wine, made by sun-drying Pedro Ximénez grapes to obtain their rich sugar content. After pressing, it was left to rest for twelve months in stainless steel tanks and, after that time, it was aged in American oak casks for 40 years.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
