A complex 14-varietal blend that captures the full breadth of the Swartland and Eben Sadie’s vision of capturing the region’s diverse terroir. One of South Africa's most prestigious and sought-after white wines, this is a masterclass in blending from Eben Sadie.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 14 varietals from 17 sites across Swartland, South Africa. It ranges from old-vine Chenin Blanc (the backbone) to Mediterranean staples like Marsanne and Verdelho coming from 14 sites in Paardeberg, 1 site in Piketberg & 2 sites in St Helena Bay.
The fruit is planted mainly on decomposed granite, table mountain sandstone fromations & chalk soils
Taste Profile: A wine of serious texture and layers. You get an initial honeyed richness and creamy weight, but it is cut through with notes of lemon curd, pear and wild thyme. The finish is distinctly salty and structured, likely thanks to that new coastal fruit. It is fresh and focused, but still has that power to age for a decade
Winemaking Process: The winemaking is patient - the fruit goes into clay amphorae and concrete eggs for 12 months before spending a solid 12 months ageing in large wooden foudres.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
