Grape Varietals & Region: Clai Ottocento Bjeli is crafted from a blend of indigenous white grape varieties Istrian Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc & Pinot Gris. These grapes are sourced from the Istrian region in Croatia, which is known for its diverse and high-quality vineyards.
Taste Profile: Prepare to be enchanted by the complexity and depth of flavors in Clai Ottocento Bjeli. It offers a harmonious blend of citrus and tropical fruit notes, such as ripe lemon, pineapple, and peach, complemented by hints of floral and herbal undertones. The wine showcases a medium to full body, vibrant acidity, and a mineral-driven character, leading to a long and satisfying finish.
Winemaking Process: Clai follows a natural winemaking approach, focusing on organic and biodynamic farming methods. The grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, de-stemmed & fed into open top oak barrels, undergoing spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts. The wine is aged in oak barrels for at least 2 years, allowing the fruit to express itself while gaining complexity and texture.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
