Grapes left hanging into a Niagara December deep-freeze are what make this glass taste like liquid stone fruit.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Vidal sourced from Niagara vineyards cooled by breezes off Lake Ontario, all VQA Niagara Peninsula-certified — Canada's regulatory guarantee of authentic, cool-climate quality.
Taste Profile: Honey, peach, lychee, pineapple and freshly cut citrus fruit on a complex, harmoniously balanced palate with an acidic backbone that keeps the sweetness in check. Lovely alongside a sharp blue cheese or a fruit tart.
Winemaking Process: Vidal grapes were left on the vine and harvested frozen in mid-December, once temperatures fell to between -10°C and -13°C. The juice was settled in stainless steel tanks, fermented slowly through to mid-February, then moved outdoors to arrest fermentation naturally and complete cold stabilisation.
Winemaker: Lakeview Cellars was founded in Vineland in 1991 by Eddy Gurinskas and later folded into Diamond Estates, Ontario's third-largest VQA producer, where it remains the house's flagship icewine label. Winemaking today is led by Scott McGregor, who grew up in the region, working alongside Lexi Kozel — between them more than 25 years of experience and over 150 wine awards.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
