Tikveš Rkatsiteli Special Selection 2018
A Georgian grape gone Macedonian, grown at the same latitude as Tuscany, Bordeaux and Napa.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Rkatsiteli from the Tikveš sub-region of the Povardarie wine region, North Macedonia, one of the country's largest wine areas, protected on three sides by mountains that shield the vineyards from northern winds, with Rendzina, Vertisol, deluvial, alluvial and Terra Rossa soils under a mixed Continental-Mediterranean climate.
Taste Profile: Delicate flavours of pear and peach with a perfect balance between freshness and strength, making it suited to any drinking occasion. Crisp acidity and fresh notes fit any summer day, with a medium body and a pleasant finish.
Winemaking Process: Manually harvested into 20kg crates, chilled in a cooling room to 6-7°C, then cold macerated in inert pneumatic presses for 4-6 hours. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at an average temperature of 12-13°C.
Winemaker: Tikveš Winery has anchored the Tikveš sub-region's wine production for generations, drawing on a mixed Continental-Mediterranean climate and mountain-shielded vineyards to grow both native and international varieties, continuing North Macedonia's centuries-old winemaking tradition along the Vardar River valley.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
