Susana Balbo Crios Torrontés 2024
Born from a mother's love for her children, Crios wears its family legacy on the label — literally, in the shape of a handprint.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Torrontés, a 50/50 blend of fruit from Cafayate in Salta and Paraje Altamira in the Uco Valley of Mendoza, each fermented in its home region before being assembled at the winery in Mendoza. Hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts at 12–14°C, then rested on lees for three months to build structure.
Taste Profile: Crisp, refreshing and aromatic, with a bouquet of citrus fruits, passion fruit, lychee and white flowers. Lively acidity, a hint of creaminess and a long, mineral finish add depth and balance to the palate.
Winemaking Process: Fermented separately by region in stainless steel at controlled low temperatures to preserve the grape's naturally heady aromatics, then blended and rested on lees for three months before bottling.
Winemaker: Crios was born out of Susana Balbo's love for her children and her desire to build a legacy for her family — the handprint on every bottle symbolises hands as tools for holding, nourishing and teaching the next generation. Known worldwide as the "Queen of Torrontés" for transforming the grape from an anonymous blending variety into Argentina's signature white, Susana and her team choose the Argentine region best suited to each variety, then nurture it to bring out its truest character.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
