Daniel Bouland Morgon "Corcelette" Vielles Vignes Sable 2024
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Gamay from the Beaujolais cru Morgon. This cuvée is produced from old Gamay vines (some planted as far back as 1926) grown on the sandy (sable) soils of the Corcelette vineyard
Taste Profile: Expect an intense fresh red fruit core of cherries & strawberries, with floral notes of violet and peony, and subtle spicy nuances. It is a generous, flavorful, and medium-to-full-bodied wine with extra depth and texture from the old vines. It typically features polished tannins and vibrant acidity
Winemaking Process: Daniel Bouland is known as a "back-to-basics" traditionalist. Grapes are handpicked, and he uses a 100% whole bunch approach, in the classic semi-carbonic Beaujolais style. Fermentation occurs naturally using only indigenous (wild) yeasts found on the grape skins and in the cellar
The wine is aged in traditional 50 hl casks or large, old neutral oak foudres. Bouland avoids new oak to ensure the wood does not mask the granite and sandy terroir

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
