Bolyki "Meta Tema" Late Harvest Hárslevelű 2019
A late-harvest dessert wine from a quarry-turned-winery on the edge of Eger.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Hárslevelű from Bolyki's vineyards in Eger, Hungary, on brown forest soils in a cool climate.
Taste Profile: An exciting sweet Hungarian wine, medium golden yellow in colour, with a rich sweetness of honey, raisin, ripe melon and candied apple, closing in a delicate mineral finish.
Winemaking Process: Late-harvested fruit undergoes spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast in stainless steel, then ages 6 months in 500-litre oak barrels.
Winemaker: János Bolyki planted his first vines in Eger in 1998 and has since built the estate into a 27-hectare operation run out of a converted medieval stone quarry. Meta Tema shows the sweeter, more patient side of a winery best known for its dry reds and Egri Csillag whites.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
