Chateau Potensac Medoc 2015

Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 45% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon & 17% Cabernet Franc, from the Medoc appellation of Bordeaux, France. The vineyards extends mainly over limestone subsoil covered with clay-gravel hillocks with a high proportion of gravel, similar to the Saint-Estephe appellation.

Since 2003, the Chateau has been classified as Cru Bourgeois, and the wines of Chateau Pontensac are as well known for their high quality

Taste Profile: There is a sense of airiness on the nose: small dark cherries, crème de cassis and crushed strawberry, pretty and nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannin, fresh and citrus in style, leading to a medium finish
