Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from a single vineyard site in Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California
Coming from Lala Panzi Vineyard, this expression focuses on the unique "fruit character" Jim Clendenen found in the Russian River Valley, characterized by its organic farming and cool-night harvesting
Sourced from a five-acre organically farmed site planted with five distinct Pinot Noir clones (114, 115, 667, 777, and Pommard)
Taste Profile: Opens with hints of dried mahogany and dark boysenberry, evolving into fresh pomegranate and whipped cream with aeration. Features tart cherry and cranberry flavors balanced by savory notes of black olive, white pepper, and baking spices
Winemaking Process: Every Pinot Noir is fermented in 5 ton open-top fermenters, which are punched down twice a day. These punch downs breakup the cap of skins that rises to the surface and pushed back into the juice so the fermentation process extracts the best part of the Pinot grapes. The wine is pressed to complete dryness and goes to barrel with moderate lees. This wine was aged for 24 months in François Frères French oak barrels, 50% new.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
