Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 25% Chardonnay, 25% Traminer, 25% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Welschriesling, from Hans Tschida's 25 hectares of vineyards in Illmitz, on the right bank of the Neusiedlersee, Burgenland, Austria — a spot where foggy autumn mornings give way to dry, sunny afternoons, ideal conditions for the development of botrytis.
Taste Profile: Bright golden yellow colour, with aromas of light exotic fruit, white flowers, pineapple and yellow apple. Very finely integrated sweetness on the palate, in perfect balance with supportive acidity, finishing crisp and clear — a pleasant aperitif that's sure to entice a crowd.
Winemaking Process: Fermented in stainless steel to preserve the fruit's freshness alongside its natural sweetness.
Winemaker: Hans Tschida shuns the limelight, preferring to stay home tending his vineyards in the quaint winemaking town of Illmitz rather than court attention for the small, family-run estate. His range runs from lightly botrytised Spätlese through to the rich, luscious Trockenbeerenauslese, and his commitment to quality was recognised at the 2010 International Wine Challenge with five trophies, including Dessert Wine of the Year and Sweet Winemaker of the Year.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
