This bold, full-bodied and tannic wine is a beast that can satisfy the thirstiest of souls.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Tannat from Garzón, Uruguay.
Taste Profile: A juicy, full-bodied wine with a deep, royal purple colour and aromas of red and black fruits like plum and raspberry with a tinge of spice. Great personality in the mouth, with ripe tannins and minerality that give it real terroir identity — aggressive tannins and high acidity leave a nice punch, closing on a long, dry, tannic finish.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are hand-picked at optimum ripeness and whole-cluster fermented, then tempered only with oak ageing for 6 to 12 months.
Winemaker: Bodega Garzón is the vision of Argentine entrepreneur Alejandro Bulgheroni, who bought the once olive-covered land in 2007 on his advisors' suggestion after initially scouting it for a wind farm. Guided by consulting winemaker Alberto Antonini — the Tuscan enologist who first spotted the site's potential — Bulgheroni and his wife Bettina set out to build the most emblematic winery of modern Uruguayan viticulture, chasing wines of real terroir identity rather than imported style.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
