Stolpman Vineyards Uni Blanc Roussanne-Chardonnay 2021
A dessert-adjacent white built from late-harvest Roussanne and deep-rooted Chardonnay, raised on ocean fog and limestone.
Grape Varietals & Region: 70% Roussanne, 30% Chardonnay, grown at Stolpman's Ballard Canyon vineyard in California's Central Coast. Limestone soils, ocean influence and a long growing season make the site ideal for bringing out Roussanne's richness, balanced by Chardonnay's crisp, mineral edge from deeper roots.
Taste Profile: Fresh honeysuckle, sweet pineapple, fleshy apricot and crunchy pear on the nose. Dry and full-bodied, with a seamless mouthfeel of peach, tangerine oil, apricot and lemon zest, layered with honeycomb and white florals, closing in a precise, clean mineral finish. Drink now or over the next 10 years.
Winemaking Process: Late-harvested Roussanne, prized for its umami depth, is blended with early-harvested Chardonnay for crispness and minerality. Fermented with native yeasts, with the fine lees stirred in barrel for added texture, then aged in neutral 500L oak puncheons.
Winemaker: Tom and Marilyn Stolpman planted the Ballard Canyon site in 1992 after Tom, a Long Beach trial attorney, spotted its limestone potential in 1988. The family launched their own label in 1997, and son Peter Stolpman now runs the estate alongside longtime winemaker Sashi Moorman, who joined in 2001 and helped shape Stolpman's Rhône-leaning house style.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
