Obiz Natissa Bianco 2018
Named for the river that once carried Roman ships to the Adriatic, now home to nesting seabirds instead of galleys.
Grape Varietals & Region: 50% Friulano and 50% Malvasia from vines grown in the sandy clay, alluvial soils of DOC Friuli Aquileia, Italy.
Taste Profile: An intense and brilliant straw yellow colour. Intense, delicate notes of field flowers, ripe apricot, flint and aromatic herbs on the nose. The full-bodied palate is creamy, elegant and persistent, with ripe apple and pear flavours alongside a touch of spice.
Winemaking Process: Harvested in the second ten days of September, then crushed and destemmed. Macerated on skins at low temperature for 18 hours, followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts at 18-20°C. The wine is refined on its yeasts with periodic bâtonnage until bottling in spring.
Winemaker: Obiz is a family winery founded in 1997 by Yunmani Bergamasco, who followed in his grandparents' footsteps after completing agricultural studies. Based near Cervignano del Friuli, in an area farmed for wine since Roman times, Obiz named Natissa Bianco for the river that once carried Roman ships from Aquileia to the sea — a nod to the estate's deep historical roots.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
