Medici Ermete "Malvasia Dry Daphne" DOC 2024
A dry Malvasia from a Lambrusco dynasty now five generations deep.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Malvasia grown in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, part of Medici Ermete's 80 hectares of organically farmed vineyards along the Via Emilia.
Taste Profile: A harmonious blend of citrus, floral and exotic fruit notes, refreshing and aromatic. Crisp acidity and a balanced structure make for a lively, easy-drinking wine.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are carefully selected and gently pressed, then fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve their aromatic profile, with ageing in stainless steel tanks to let the grape variety shine through.
Winemaker: Medici Ermete was founded in 1890 by Remigio Medici in Reggio Emilia. His son Ermete expanded the business, and it passed through his sons Valter and Giorgio before the fourth generation — Alberto, Pierluigi and Alessandra — joined in 1988 and revolutionised the estate's approach to Lambrusco, including Italy's first single-vineyard Lambrusco, Concerto, in 1994. The winery is now run by the fifth generation, led by Alessandro Medici.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
