Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Lambrusco from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The grapes come from the 15 hectares of vineyards that they organically cultivate in the Il Cristo area on clay and sandy soils that are rich in organic substances
Taste Profile: A fruity rosé made using the traditional method of bottle fermentation in the D.O.C. Lambrusco di Sorbara
Winemaking Process: Without any maceration, the must is placed in stainless steel tanks where the first fermentation takes place. Once the base wine has been made, Paltrinieri Lambrusco di Sorbara Radice is bottled and the second fermentation happens in the bottle. The lees, or dead yeasts, will remain in contact with the wine for some time, which will give it body and volume.
The bottling, which was traditionally done by hand with a rope by the women of the village, has been replaced by a more modern, automated, sheet of metal or crown. Although this method may be considered a sign of low quality (people use it as a home bottling method), at Paltrinieri they consider it much more practical, making the wine easier to drink

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
