Never knew gold could taste this fruity — Campania's most prestigious white, grown on the slopes of dormant volcanoes.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Greco di Tufo from ancient hillside vines in Campania, Italy, many planted on the sides of dormant volcanoes so the grapes' aromas aren't burned away in the summer heat. Terredora's vineyards sit on volcanic soils rich in limestone and clay, with southern exposure and an excellent microclimate on windy hills 400–650 metres above sea level — soil the region's name, Tufo, takes from the soft volcanic rock found throughout its subsoil.
Taste Profile: Beautiful pale gold colour. Enticing scents of spring blossom, stone fruit and Mediterranean herbs lead to a rich mouthful of pear, melon, a touch of mandarin and traces of cut hay, with hints of mineral and white fruit, superb acidity and excellent structure. Full-bodied, structured and loaded with finesse, vibrant and well balanced with a crisp finish.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are harvested by hand into small baskets, with minimal time between removal from the vine and pressing — a late-ripening, medium-bodied variety that delivers relatively high acidity and an invigorating mineral character alongside fresh citrus, stone fruit and herbal notes.
Winemaker: Terredora di Paolo was founded in 1994 by Walter Mastroberardino together with his children Daniela, Lucio and Paolo, following the 1993 division of the historic Mastroberardino family estate — one of Italy's oldest winemaking families, producing wine in Campania since the late 18th century. Walter named the new estate after his wife, Dora Di Paolo, while his brother Antonio retained the Mastroberardino name and winery. Today Terredora is Campania's third-largest producer and one of the only wineries in the region to own nearly all of its own vineyards.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
