Aurora "Cuvée du Patron" Red 2018
The winery's best red barrels, hand-picked by the founder himself for a cuvée that carries his name.
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc from North Lebanon.
Taste Profile: Blackberry, sweet dark plums, mint and hints of soft leather on the nose. Round in structure, with subtle tannins, notes of smoked walnut and a long-lasting silky finish.
Winemaking Process: A refined blend of the winery's best red wine barrels, carefully selected by the founder and winemaker, aged 12 months in French oak barrels.
Winemaker: Aurora is a boutique winery founded by oenologist Fady Geara, who began making wine as a weekend passion project from vines in the small village of Aoura, the estate's namesake, overlooking the Nahr al Jawz ("Walnut River"). The vineyard sits at 900 metres in the mountains of Batroun, 60km north of Beirut, Lebanon, surrounded by olive and oak trees. Fady's daughter has managed the winery since 2014, producing up to 20,000 bottles a year using modern, eco-friendly, low-intervention techniques.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
