A ground-breaking wine, young and revolutionary, from the vineyard of Tokaj's noblest grape.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Furmint from the Mandolás vineyard, one of the single-variety plots of the historic Oremus estate in Tokaj, Hungary — the region's most distinguished appellation and Furmint's spiritual home.
Taste Profile: Pale yellow with green highlights. Aromas of green apple, lemon and apricot meet a hint of oak and chalky minerals. Concentrated and fruit-forward on the palate, layered with white fruit, citrus and mineral flavours — elegant, fresh and youthful. Medium-bodied and dry, with soft acidity and a long, pure, lingering finish.
Winemaking Process: Grapes undergo a delicate, gentle pressing, then ferment in new Hungarian oak barrels for 8–12 days. The wine ages in small, 136-litre Hungarian oak barrels.
Winemaker: Tempos Vega Sicilia — one of Spain's most celebrated wine houses — founded Tokaj-Oremus in 1993, just three years after the fall of communism in Hungary, bringing modern winemaking to a region steeped in centuries of tradition. The estate's Mandolás bottling, named for the vineyard it comes from, channels that same spirit: a young, exploratory wine built on respect for one of the world's great historic appellations.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
