Burgundy at its most charming — red cherry, silky tannins, and a sense of place that makes every sip feel like a mini trip to the Côte de Beaune.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from village-level vineyards in Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy's Côte de Beaune, France. The Beaune village cuvée is a blend of four parcels with a variety of different soils — deep red clay, clay and sand, and alluvial — all farmed organically. Beaune is the third largest appellation in the Côte d'Or, yet has fewer than 10 independent vignerons, making wines from dedicated growers like Domaine des Croix genuinely special.
Taste Profile: The 2023 vintage — marked by a balanced summer and healthy harvests — offers a wine with a brilliant ruby colour and an expressive nose of cherry, raspberry, and violet. On the palate, the texture is fine and silky, supported by vibrant acidity and delicately melted tannins, with a long mineral finish that reveals a typically Beaune elegance. William Kelley of Wine Advocate describes it as rich and muscular, with aromas of dark berries, spices, and orange, leading to a medium to full-bodied, layered, and youthfully tannic palate.
Winemaking Process: Winemaking is traditional but precise — whole cluster fermentations, native yeasts, and ageing in mostly old oak. Grapes are harvested at perfect ripeness, vinified gently with partial destemming and measured extraction, and aged in oak barrels with only a small proportion of new wood, refining structure without masking the delicacy of the fruit. David has set a target yield of 35 hl/ha, keeping concentration high and quality uncompromising

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
