The Tornatore family dates back to 1865, when the great grandfather of the current owner began farming and cultivating grapes. Today, Tornatore owns 60 hectares of vineyards in the Etna DOC, and are one of the fastest rising wineries in the region

Tornatore Etna Bianco DOC 2022

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Carricante from Mt Etna, Sicily, Italy. The vineyards are planted 650 metres above sea level, where the volcanic soils give it an unparalleled minerality

Taste Profile: A definitive white wine with aromas of green apple, citrus notes and hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is fresh, flavoursome and precise. A wine with a pleasant flavour and extraordinary minerality.

Winemaking Process: The grapes are selected and destemmed by hand and, after gentle pressing, the resulting must is fermented in concrete tanks at a controlled temperature of 15-16°C and remains on the lees for 3 months in the same tanks.
