Grape Varietal & Region: Pasaeli Wild Ferment Calkarasi is made exclusively from the Calkarasi grape, a rare and ancient variety native to the Aegean region of Turkey. The vineyards are situated in the foothills of Mount Ida, benefiting from the region's cool climate and diverse soils.
Taste Profile: This wine is a true expression of the Calkarasi grape, displaying a beautiful balance between elegance and intensity. On the palate, you'll be greeted with vibrant red fruit flavors, such as cherry and raspberry, layered with subtle hints of spices and earthy undertones. The wild fermentation process adds complexity and a touch of natural funk, enhancing the wine's overall character.
Winemaking Process: Pasaeli Wild Ferment Calkarasi undergoes a natural fermentation process, allowing indigenous yeasts to work their magic. Grown in a single vineyard at an altitude of 950m, it is partially whole-clustered fermented with native yeast and barrel-aged for 6 months in French Oak. This approach preserves the unique qualities of the grape and adds depth to the wine's aromas and flavors. After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for a short period to enhance its structure and complexity.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
