The Valditerra winery was founded in the early 1950s, when the family vineyards would grow grapes for bulk production. In the late 1960s, Laura Valditerra began focusing more on the creation of estate wines. Today her nephews, Francesco and Emanuele, have taken over the running of the vineyard and winery. Francesco and Emanuele are concentrating their efforts on producing excellent bottled wines. There initial vintage was assisted and advised by the new oenologist Monica Rossetti and her development plans for the vineyard.
Valditerra is one of the youngest and most innovative wineries operating in the Gavi area. Intuition, passion, desire and authenticity are the basis of an ambitious project: to produce a Gavi wine that is modern, pleasant, attentive to the market but with respect for tradition and strong conviction to maintain this wonderful bottle of the originality of the terroir.
