"Heritage de Calcaire" is the result of the meeting of three minds : Kevin Tessieux, Florent Rouve and Jean-Luc Terrier.
Together they have created a range born of three vineyards which share a desire to give expression of the terroir, and their quest for wine of absolute purity and elegance.
Bourgogne
The vineyards of Burgundy run along a 250km long and 5-6km wide prehistoric limestone ridge that runs through the valleys carved out by the river Saône. Mâconnais is thhe south of Burgundy, Chardonnay grapes is everywhere and it represents 80% of the vines. The privilege low yields, tiling and the use of organic manure to produce the emblematic Protected Designation of Origin (AOP) wines: Bourgogne Blanc, Mâcon-Villages, Saint-Véran, Pouilly-Fuissé, Viré-Clessé.
Jura
The Jura vineyards cover 1865Ha along a north-south axis, stretching from Salins-les-Bains to Saint-Amour. This strip of land is bounded on the east by the first limestone plateau of the Jura Mountains and on the west, by the plain of Bresse. In front, towards the west stretches in the same axis, Burgundy. They only produce white wine with Savagin and Chardonnay under the Protected Designation of Origin (AOP) Arbois and Côtes-du-Jura. We are looking for the right expression of terroir.
Languedoc
The vines are located in the heart of the Upper Aude Valley in the South France. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir florush unhurriedly here in this gentle climate with hot days and cool nights at an altitude of between 300 and 500m. Exposed to the influence of the Pyrenees Mountains, on high windswept hillsides, they give rise to clean and elegant wines. We produced Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) and Protected Designation of Origin (AOP) wines: IGP Haute Vallée de I’Aude, Pays d’Oc; AOP Limoux Blanc, Limoux Rouge.
