Cosmic Vinyaters is a project set up by a new generation of winemakers. Passionate, enthusiastic and talented young people who aim to produce small-crafted volumes of well-made wines with a unique identity. All whilst respecting the values of the fruit and showing a great respect for nature and the expression of terroir. They practice sustainable viticulture following the Biodynamic principles.
Salvador Batlle is the winemaker behind the project of Cosmic, is the creator of this wine born as a tribute to all the wise and hard working farmers who have done so much to conserve all the of the territory's cultural and wine heritage.
Focus and Landscapes
Còsmic focuses on two very different landscapes of the Catalan geography: Agullana, Capmany and La Vajol in the Alt Empordà, where they worship local Empordà varieties, and Rodonyà and the Sierra de Montmell in Baix Penedès, where they cultivate autochthonous penedesencas varieties together with foreign varieties well adapted to the terroir.
The 9.5 hectare of vineyards are cultivated in a natural, ecological and biodynamical way.
Their creative path is devoted to producing pure integral wines, made only from one and only grape variety, (pureness upon pureness). Made with the lowest intervention and highest respect for its natural and energetic origin, together with the spirit of the person behind it.
