Description
Tenuta Luce Della Vite 'Lucente’ Toscana IGT 2017
An elegant wine with a contemporary style. Tenuta Luce della Vite 'Lucente' is the second wine of Tenuta Luce with a contemporary style.
Deep ruby colour with purplish highlights. Powerful and clean bouquet of wild red and black berry jam with an undercurrent of leather, tobacco and light spices. The medium-bodied palate has a high acidity and silky tannins for a wonderful roundness. Jammy ripe fruit flavours of cherries, plums, raspberries, cranberries, blackberries and blackcurrant. The fruit-forward flavours are enriched by nuances of mocha and delicate toasted notes. Closes with a velvety and light spiced persistent finish.

A blend of Merlot and Sangiovese. The grapes come from the estate’s famous clayey soils. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats at 28°C for 10 days. Maceration on skins for 20 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in steel vats. The wine ages for 12 months in partially new and partially used oak barriques, with additional ageing in bottle.
