Description

Pietro Zardini "Pietro Junior" Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOC 2017

Grape Varietals & Region: Made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinello & Molinara, Leone Zardini is the top Amarone from Pietro Zardini's winery, it is dedicated to his father and is only made in the best vintages.

Taste Profile: On the nose it shows the typical concentrated fruit notes that are reminiscent of plum confit and dried grapes, but on the palate its entire structure emerges and, in addition to rich fruit notes, power and expression await you. Intense and characteristic aromas of ripe fruits, spices, cocoa and hints of coffee. Harmonious and well-structured in taste with fine oak tones and ripe fruit notes.

Winemaking Process: Only the grapes from the best vineyard locations are used for this wine. Later in the wine cellar, the best barriques are selected for bottling the Riserva Zardini. A first-class Amarone that falls into the category of strong and strong Amarone.
