Description
Milan Nestarec Bel 2020
Milan Nestarec Bel is a wine you can drink with literally everyone – be they natural wine fans or haters. Elegant and refreshing aromatics of lemon and lime citrus, green apples, a hint of floral notes and delectable saltiness. An easy character with good acidity that makes this a real crowd pleaser.
Blend of Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling and Müller-Thurgau. The fruit comes from the estate's different vineyards in Bílovice and Moravský, which are farmed using natural and organic practices. The vines are between 25–40 years-old and grow in loess, clay and sandy soils.
Hand harvesting of the fruit, no maceration, just gentle pressing and spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts in stainless steel. Ages in the same vessels for about 6 months. About 15ppm of sulfur is added (Milan doesn't use SO2 when he doesn't have to, but is not dogmatic about it and it goes well with Bel's character). No fining or filtering before bottling.
