A magnificent estate, solid know-how and meticulous care for each of their wines clearly distinguishes Maurice Gavignet from other wineries.
"Vinified and aged in our cellar in Nuits Saint Georges, our Cellar Master takes special care to promote the whole extraction and all the nuances of the different terroirs. The idea being to bring out the true expression of the Pinot Noir." — Arnaud Gavignet, Winemaker.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France
Taste Profile: A ruby red bourgogne with ripe blackberries and red cherries on the nose. Creamy cranberry and red fruit compote on the palate with slight toasted notes for a dash of complexity. Elegant and structured, with a gentle pepper burn on the finish.
Winemaking Process: Harvested by hand and then transported to their vast vaults, Rue Félix Tisserand in Nuits-Saint-Georges, where the wine is vinified and aged. Fermented at controlled temperatures and then aged in French Merrain oak barrels. Further aging occurs after bottling in order to let the wine develop powerful red fruit and blackberry aromas.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
