Description

La Fiorita Rosso di Montalcino 2020

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Sangiovese from vines planted in the Brunello region of Tuscany, Italy. The fruit comes from a selection of vineyards planted on calcareous clay, sandy clay and clay loam. 

Taste Profile: A baby Brunello. It expresses a great introduction to Sangiovese from Montalcino and La Fiorita. Robust, with hints of balsamic vinegar, charred meat and stewed red fruit.

Winemaking Process: The wine ferments using native yes, and spends about 10 months ageing in a French oak, followed by 12 months in concrete tanks.
