100% Primitivo from Salento where vineyards are elevated at about 90m and grown in clay soil. The average age of vines are about 15 – 20 years and the harvest was one within the first 15 days of September. Maceration with skin took place for 10 days with several punch downs. Malolactic fermentation is completed in barrique and aged for 4 months in Never and Troncais Barrique.
