Description

Stift Goettweig Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs 2016

Grape Varietals: 100% Chardonnay from Kremstal, Austria. The grapes for the sparkling wine come from their top cru Silberbichl. Chardonnay grows on sandy Danube gravel subsoil, which is covered with calcareous loess-clay deposits. The term "silver" comes from the mica slate sections that occurin the deep soil layers

Whole cluster pressing; alcoholic fermentation in a small wooden barrel; after a few months of lees contact in a small wooden barrel, classic bottle fermentation starts. Disgorged after 30 months without dosage.
