Château La Fleur de Boüard has been the estate’s first wine since 1998. Due to the innovative know-how of Hubert de Boüard, supported by his Technical Director Bryan Dessaint and the cellar master, Kinga Hars from Angelus., Château La Fleur de Boüard has fully blossomed and is now the pillar of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation.
Grape Varietals & Region: 82% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot. 18 ha of clay with a gravel subsoil on the Néac plateau and 11 ha of large gravel with 15% clay.
Taste Profile: With an intense and deep color, Fleur de Boüard offers a nose with a hint of red berries, blackcurrant and spices. The wine shows a good structure in mouth, soft and silky tanins. Its elegance and long length make it a vintage that stands out.
Winemaking Process: Cold soaking before fermentation at 8 to 10°C – alcoholic fermentation – 3 to 5 weeks on skin entirely gravity-fed vinification. The wine is aged for 15 to 18 months in barrel to preserve the fruit and produce silky, elegant tannins.
From Barolo to Bordeaux, these wines are steeped in tradition. The style covers a broad spectrum of flavor profiles, but tend to be elegant and structured and can be cellared for a long time.
These wines often have savoury tones of earth, bell pepper, tobacco, cassis, and are often medium to full bodied, with long finish & structured palattes
MLF is a process that results in reduction in acidity & the production of buttery texture & taste profile, often applied to more bodied styles of red & white wines
While not all creamy whites or rich fruity reds undergo MLF, and can adopt similar profiles from barrel ageing,

Founded in 2019, we were bored with the typical Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Amarone & Moscato offerings at most bars & restaurants, and were inspired to dive deeper into the wine world!
