Description

Champagne Le Brun de Neuville Le Chenim Empreinte Extra Brut NV

A single vineyard approach to Champagne making.

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from selected plots in the Cote de Sezanne. From southeast vineyards averaging 45 years grown on clay & chalk soils

Taste Profile: It still has the bright citrus character of a Blanc de Blancs, but with delicate notes of flaky pastry and biscuit crumb. Appealing floral, yellow apple and biscuit aromas. Creamy palate with grapefruit tones and saline texture. Delicate, long and dry finish

Vinification: Slow fermentation in barrels & tanks, with 10 months on lees. This is followed by 48 to 60 months on lees in bottle ageing before disgorgement
