Description

Cape Point Vineyards Isliedh 2023

Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and a hint of Sauvignon Gris from 2 different parcels. The parcels sit on a sea-facing Chapman's Peak mountain slope in Noordhoek, South Africa. With severe winds and rocky, decomposed granite soils, the estates' vineyards produce vines with tiny bunches packed with flavour and complexity.

Taste Profile: A rich, saline and beautifully textured blend with floral notes and ripe nectarine, pink grapefruit, fig and lemon curd leaping from the glass unveiling a harmonious blend. Complex, with a classic, long-lasting mineral finish.

Winemaking Process: The grapes were 100% barrel-fermented with wild, natural yeasts, followed by maturation on the fine fermentation lees for 16 months, in old French Oak.
