Bodega Cerron Remordimiento Tinto 2023

Grape Varietals & Region: 85% Monastrell & 15% Garnacha blend from Jumilla, Spain. The fruit comes from bush planted vines in the village of Fuente-Alamo, from a blend of vineyards between 25-50 years old. Planted on sandy texture soils with a high concentration of limestone and broken edges of the petrocalcic stratum

Taste Profile: A juicy red wine with aromas of candied red and black fruit, spicy notes and mineral touches. On the palate it is flavoursome, fresh and balsamic. An elegant medium-bodied wine with a predominantly sweet finish.

Winemaking Process: The grapes are cold macerated and then spontaneous fermentation begins with native yeasts in barrels and amphoras made of clay, cement and stainless steel. Finally, the wine ages in clay amphoras and 500-, 600- and 700-litre French oak barrels for 18 months.
