Ruinart Champagne Blanc de Blancs NV
Chardonnay is the very soul of Ruinart, and this cuvée puts it at the heart of everything.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay, blended from multiple vintages (20–25% reserve wines from the two previous years). A large majority of Premier Cru fruit from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims gives aromatic refinement, supplemented by riper Sezannais wines for maturity and a handful of lots from north of the Vesle valley for a light, fresh touch — all from Champagne, France.
Taste Profile: Beautiful pale golden yellow with gentle green reflections and a persistent, fine effervescence. Intense on the nose at first with fresh, ripe citrus fruit, followed by refined white flowers, peach and pineapple. The palate has a supple, harmonious attack and a rounded mouthfeel, with vinosity kept in check by excellent freshness.
Winemaking Process: Vinified entirely in stainless steel to preserve fruit purity, then aged on lees in Ruinart's chalk crayeres beneath Reims before dosage and release.
Winemaker: Maison Ruinart traces back to Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart, whose nephew Nicolas Ruinart drafted the house's founding charter in Reims on the 1st of September 1729 — making it the oldest established Champagne house in the world. Today chef de cave Frédéric Panaïotis shapes the Ruinart style around what he describes as the opposite of the region's richer houses: "fresh aromas, vivacity, purity and luminosity," with Chardonnay, the grape Nicolas Ruinart was among the first to champion, still at the heart of every cuvée.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
