Taste Profile: Aphros Phaunus Amphora Vinhao Red 2017 is a wine that is characterized by its intense and vibrant red color, with complex aromas of dark berries, floral notes, and hints of earthiness. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, with smooth tannins and a long, persistent finish. It is a wine that is both powerful and elegant, showcasing the distinctive characteristics of the Vinhao grape and the influence of the amphora aging process
Winemaking Process: Hand-harvested Vinhao grapes from carefully tended vineyards. The grapes are fermented in traditional clay amphorae, following the ancient winemaking tradition of the region. The amphorae provide a natural environment for the grapes to ferment and age, allowing the wine to develop its unique flavors and aromas. The wine is then gently pressed and aged in the same amphorae for a period of time, allowing it to achieve its full potential.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
