Grape Varietals & Region: Syrah from the Yarra Valley, coming from various properties including grower vineyards as well as their estate vineyards
This Syrah exhibits a vibrant hue of red-dark cherry. Its nose oers hints of graphite, spice, florals, and both red and black peppercorns. On the palate, it presents a medium-bodied character, with flavours of florals, poached red plums, cherries, and spice layered atop firm, chalky clay tannins. It's a wine that balances a sense of dreaminess with a grounded presence, oering both complexity and substance.
Winemaking Process: The fruit is fermented for 14-18 days on skins in stainless open fermenters, with about 10% whole bunch. The wine is then matured for 8 months in old large & small format oak
