Two Hands Gnarly Dudes Shiraz 2023
Two Hands Wines was founded in early 1999 by Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz. Their intention is to showcase the diversity of Australian Shiraz by highlighting regional characteristics and allowing the fruit to be the primary feature of the wines
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Shiraz from Barossa Valley, Australia
Taste Profile: Hits the palate with vibrancy and pop. Bright berry notes dance across the palate. Medium to full bodied with richness of fruit balanced by bright refreshing acidity. Tannins are prominent but melt beautifully into a wall of fruit. Finished with a lovely long palate, accented by notes of red licorice, lavender, and dark chocolate with a creamy texture from lees contact.
Winemaking Process: The fruit was crushed into and fermented in 5, 7 and 10 tonne open fermenters. During the peak of fermentation the batches received regular pump overs 2-3 times daily. The average time on skins was 15 days. Maturation occurred in 12% new French oak hogsheads for 14 months, the balance in 1 to 8 year old. After maturation the final blend was lightly fined and unfiltered prior to bottling.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
