Description

Domaine de Boisseyt Cote-Rotie 'Cote Blonde' Red 2020 is a luxurious and complex wine from the Northern Rhone region of France.

The “Côte Blonde” is one of the most prestigious plots in the world. This 1934 plot, in the shape of an amphitheatre, is planted with 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier. Vines here are planted in vertiginous terraces above the village of Ampuis. The terroir is composed of mica schist, a rock formed from quartz and thin mica beds, with significant clay content.

Made from Syrah grapes grown on the Cote Blonde slope, this wine displays a deep ruby color and a bouquet of red and dark fruits, with hints of violet and black pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with firm tannins and a long finish that leaves a pleasant spiciness on the tongue. This wine is the result of a meticulous winemaking process, including careful grape selection, traditional fermentation, and aging in oak barrels. The result is a wine that perfectly showcases the unique terroir of Cote-Rotie and the expertise of the winemaker.

Perfectly paired with game, lamb, or other rich meats, this wine is sure to impress any wine lover with its depth and complexity.
