Vines here are planted in vertiginous terraces above the village of Ampuis. The terroir is composed of mica schist, a rock formed from quartz and thin mica beds, with significant clay content.

Made from Syrah grapes grown on the Cote Blonde slope, this wine displays a deep ruby color and a bouquet of red and dark fruits, with hints of violet and black pepper.
