Description

Weingut Markus Molitor is a renowned German winery located in the Mosel region, known for producing high-quality Riesling wines primarily.

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Blanc (also known as Weissburgunder in Germany)

Tasting Profile: Deep, intense and elegant as well as complex nose of crushed stones (slate and limestone) and lemon zests. On the palate, lush, refined and elegant on the palate, this is a smooth and charming Pinot Blanc with texture and intense sur lie fruit and a finely salty-crystalline finish.

Winemaking Process: The grapes were harvested in October. 100% healthy berries were gently crushed, and given several hours of skin contact to extract aroma and minerals. The must fermented spontaneously and slowly at low temperature so that the complex fruit aroma could develop perfectly. Subsequently, the wine was carefully matured on its lees in wooden barrels for a long time.
