Located in Ayse, La Begerie is is the only label made from a blend of the 9.5 hectare vineyard, while the rest of the Domaine's labels are made from a plot approach, hencing coming from a blend of soils including yellow marl, white marl and limestone scree.
Taste Profile: Concentrated flavors of orchard fruits, floral notes, and a touch of minerality. Its full-bodied and luscious palate is balanced by refreshing acidity
Winemaking Process: Vinification remains gentle and requires little intervention: indigenous yeasts, limited use of sulfur, aging in neutral concrete, stainless steel and stoneware containers. After gentle pressing for 7 hours, fermentation occurs with native yeasts. The wine is aged for 9 months on fine lees in ovoid concrete vats (2/3) and in stainless steel vats (1/3) . It is then left to rest for 10 months in the bottle .
