A Friulian white grown where Roman-era wine amphorae still turn up in the vineyard.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Traminer Aromatico from vines grown in medium-textured soils within DOC Friuli, Italy.
Taste Profile: A shiny straw yellow colour. An intense and complex nose reminiscent of rose hips and thyme, minerals and light citrus. Full mouthfeel and bright acidity on the medium-bodied palate, with a fresh and fragrant character of lemon citrus, lychee and jasmine.
Winemaking Process: Fruit is grown in the medium-textured soils typical of the estate near the Adriatic coast, with vinification aimed at preserving the variety's natural aromatic intensity.
Winemaker: Obiz is a family winery founded in 1997 by Yunmani Bergamasco, who followed in his grandparents' footsteps after completing agricultural studies. Based in the hamlet of Borgo Gortani near Cervignano del Friuli — an area farmed for wine since Roman times, with amphorae still turning up on the property — Obiz embraces sustainability and resistant PIWI grape varieties alongside its native Friulian whites.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
