Milan Nestarec's Forks & Knives Red 2019 is a unique and exciting natural wine from the Czech Republic. Made from a blend of local grape varieties including Frankovka, Zweigelt, and St. Laurent, this wine is full of character and flavor.
The wine is aged in old oak barrels for 11 months and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur. It has a vibrant ruby red color and aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, and earthy notes. On the palate, the wine is light-bodied and refreshing, with juicy acidity and soft tannins.
Nestarec's winemaking philosophy is centered around minimal intervention and sustainability. He uses organic and biodynamic farming methods and allows natural yeasts to ferment the grapes without adding any commercial yeasts or additives.
Easy drinking red wines with bright fruit aromas and low tannins. The wines are often released without much aging in tank, oak barrels or bottle, and are meant to be drunk early
These wines typically can be nejoyed without food, and are usually served cooler. They can be light bodied wines like Beaujolais, or light extraction styles that do not emphasize tannin & color extraction
WINES FROM UNIQUE REGIONS & BOUTIQUE WINERIES
Founded in 2019, we were bored with the typical Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Amarone & Moscato offerings at most bars & restaurants, and were inspired to dive deeper into the wine world!
