100% Shiraz. 16-year-old Shiraz vineyards planted in Bokkeveld Shale on a chalky clay layer
Shiraz from the Bot River area tends to have more feminine qualities & layered complexity for making red wines, but also for Cap Classique
Dark salmon in colour with a delectable fine mousse, this lovely Shiraz-based sprakling wine has aromas of cherry and pomegranate on the nose that are accentuated by juicy red grapefruit and white peach flavours on the palate. It has a lingering, silky finish.
Red fruit and bubbles, ranging from light and fruity pink Moscato, to vintage rosé Champagne and sparkling Shiraz
Saignée involves the bleeding off, or draining off, of a proportion of juice from a tank of crushed red grapes. This technique increases the amount of skins relative to juice in the tank and typically results in a concentration effect, producing richer wines with more colour and tannin.
