Crystallum "The Agnes" Chardonnay 2024
Made by the third generation of a family that helped invent South African Pinot Noir.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Chardonnay from South Africa's Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, a cool-climate region renowned for exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Taste Profile: A brilliant golden colour, with aromas of ripe citrus, apple and pear, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and oak. A harmonious balance of fruit, acidity and oak on the palate, with a creamy texture and a long, refreshing finish.
Winemaking Process: Grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed, then fermented in French oak barrels, with a small portion undergoing malolactic fermentation for added complexity. The wine ages in a combination of new and older oak barrels before further time in stainless steel to preserve freshness and vibrancy.
Winemaker: Crystallum was founded in 2007 by brothers Peter-Allan and Andrew Finlayson, the third generation of Finlayson winemakers in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Their father, Peter Finlayson, was a founding winemaker at Hamilton Russell Vineyards in 1977 before starting Bouchard Finlayson in 1989. Peter-Allan now oversees the cellar while Andrew tends the vineyards, focusing exclusively on Burgundian varieties and helping lead South Africa's 'New Wave' wine movement.

We hate the disappointment of opening an off-drinking bottle of wine – as much as a kid seeing their scoop of ice cream fall to the ground (Yes, it hurts).
Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your wines to let us know why you’re not satisfied and drop off the remaining unused wines back to us. The bottle will have to be at least 3/4 full and the same wine the bottle is in (duh).
Once we verify that the the wine was corked or damaged, we will process the refund.
